"Celebrating at Chili's "

So today was my friend Christina's birthday so we decided to go out to eat for her birthday... She wanted to go to Chili's so we went... The new menu was very good.. I like Chili's more now then before... I was so hungry that day I was surprised at how much I ate... I had the trio fajita which had shrimps, steak, chicken, rice, black beans, flour torillas and the cream... Not to mention I also had dessert... Dang I ate like I never ate before... lol... I figured since I don't eat out all the time, to make the best out of my outing....
The birthday Girl and I !!! The big "26!"
Rachell and her friend freddy later showed up and we had a good time talking and catching up...

"Alice and Wonderland 3D"

So these pictures were taken off my phone so thats why they are smaller... My good friend Joanne and I decide to go eat out and watch a movie... I don't do this often but I decided to treat myself out since I haven't really done this in a long time... We were originally gonna go to the dollar theater but they sold out of tickets of the movie we wanted to watch so instead we went and saw Alice and wonderland... In my opinion it was better than I thought the movie was gonna be... We didn't know it was 3d until we actually bought the tickets... So these are pictures of us with our 3d glasses... lol...

"PBS Telethon"

As part of Wells Fargo's volunteer program, I signed up to answer phones for the KUED also know as Pbs television station to help them raise money... It was so much fun!!! At first I was very nervous to be on t.v. but then I started to feel more comfortable and things went smoothly... I meet these two cool kids, Ben and Jon.... All the other volunteers were all in there clicks and didn't really talk to me much, except for the other Wells Fargo members. These pictures are of the station and where they broadcast the telethon... I look at these pictures and I still can't believe I was on t.v. Hope you enjoy the pictures...
We were know as the multi-cultural crew.... lol ... Jon from Korea, Ben fro Jamaica and me the latin one....
Here's us in action.... lol!!!
We even got to see the equipment they use and had a tour of the whole television station... Way cool!!! I would definitely do this again if I get the chance... Too bad they only do these telethons 3 times a year... I was lucky enough to be apart of one... I wish my honey was here with me... I bet he would have had a blast as well...

"March's Blood Drive"

So last Sunday I made a friend at church and her name is Rachel... We were getting to know each other during Relief Society. So we decided to both sign up to donate blood for the blood drive our ward was hosting... The time came around and we went... I was a little worried I wasn't gonna be able to donate because I thought my iron level was low but to my surprise the guy that attended me said I had a really good iron level and that I was really healthy... I was so happy to hear that..

Before going to donate I called the red cross to see where my blood would be going... I asked them if I could have them send my blood to a soldier or a child that needed it. Unfortunately they don't decide who gets it...I am willing to give my blood to who ever needs it but I wanted to dedicate my blood to the troops that are fight hard for us... I have the universal donor blood type so anyone can receive my blood...

Although I didn't know where my blood was going, I'm just so grateful I am able to help someone in need... I'm not posting this to get credit from anyone. I'm just posting this for my husband to see what I've been up to... I bet he must be wondering what I do while he's in Afghanistan... Don't worry honey I am faithful and true......

After donating I felt weak but I felt good to know that I helped someone ... So if you ever get the opportunity to donate blood .... Go For it!

"I am the wife of an American Soldier"

I am a supporter of the United States Army an encouragement for the protectors
of the greatest nation on the earth.
Because I am proud of my husband
and the uniform that he wears,
I will always act in ways creditable to him,
the military service and the nation he is sworn to guard.
I am proud of my husband.
I will do all that I can to protect
and provide for my family in his absence. I will be loyal to my husband and to the vows
that we made as we entered the covenant of marriage.
I will do my full part to carry on the values and goals we have set apart for our family and I will continue to instruct our children in the same manner.
As a soldier's wife,
I realize that I play a vital role in my husband's decision
to become a member of a time-honored profession
that I am doing my share to keep alive
the principles of freedom for which my country stands.
No matter what the situation I am in, I will never do anything, for pleasure, profit, or personal safety, which will disgrace my husband, his uniform or our country.
I will use every means I have to encourage my husband
to be the best soldier that he can be.
I am proud of my husband, my country and its flag.
I will fly the flag and will always remember the sacrifices made by my husband
and by generations of men and women that have served our beloved country.
I will try to make my husband proud of the manner in which I accept his decision to defend my freedom and the freedom of all American citizens.

I am the wife of an American Soldier!
