"Getting back into shape"

So time is ticking and I feel so bad because I haven't gone to the gym since December..I also feel like I've gained weight and thats the last thing I want especially since my husband is coming home for his R&R soon. Well I started going back to the gym since last week so I've made it a week. Hooray!! That the first step in the right direction.. Now once May starts I will implement a better diet... I'm gonna keep a eating journal along with counting my calories... I'm not gonna be so hard on myself on the whole Calorie thing but I am gonna try to stay below 1200 Calories since that's what my body normally burns on it own... I'm gonna substitute all the bad junky foods for all the good foods but I'm only gonna grant myself 2 free days of the month to eat whatever I want, if I do well... If I slack off then I wont grant myself those 2 days... Also when Garett comes for his R&R the diet is off at least for those two weeks... lol ;-) Hopefully I'll beable to look good and feel better by the time Garett comes back from Deployment... Wish me luck on my journey to get back into shape..

"Beautiful Surprise"

So it was one awful Wednesday at work... The systems were down and we had a bunch of stuff to do...I work at a bank and so our job depends on computers to run transactions ... We had to give out handwritten receipts and then once the systems were up we would run all the transactions we did... The systems were down until one in the afternoon... which was forever for our systems for being down... I couldn't believe how awful the day was going... It was raining with some slushy snow along with it... Then during my 3o min lunch I drove over to the post office to ship off some surprise packages for my husband.. Then all of a sudden when I was paying to ship off the packages my phone rings and its my husbands.. I didn't want to tell him that I was surprising him and shipping 3 packages but anyone who knows me, knows I can't lie for crap... So I had to tell him I was shipping him packages... Yeah I know I suck at telling lies and keeping things from him...lol!!! So after that I go back to work and when I do I see these beautiful Flowers on my desk... I was so surprised and touched by them that I just wanted to cry cause I really wasn't expecting Garett to send me flowers.... I wish he was there when I got them so I could hug him and give him kisses...
I felt so special and so loved...
I don't think I will ever forget this jester of love... I miss him so much and I wish he was here with me... But I know duty calls and I'm so excited for him to come for his R&R.... I love you So much Garett Andrew Gebhart jr. !!!!!

"last slumber party"

So after the tulip festival we decided to have a little slumber party... We made some fresh strawberry virgin daquiries meaning "NO ALCOHOL!" We both don't drink Alcoholic beverages due to our religious beliefs... Any who we had Doritos our strawberry drinks and a good movie to watch...
process of making them
Marci's drink
My drink with the strawberries sliced so I can eat them... mmm way delicious!!!
Marci slept on the couch and I slept in the mattress next to her... Just like old times...
I know I look crappy but hey it was late
Me right before we put the movie on....

So the reason why this will be our last slumber party is because I'm married and Marci is gonna get married in May... When my husband called me he was so funny!!! He said how old are you now??? Then he said honey just to let you know when I get home we are not having slumber parties at our house... It will just be me and you and nobody else.... I giggled and said of course baby... Don't you worry it will be just me and you ;-) I love you Garett Andrew Gebhart and I miss you so much !!! Stay Safe my dear husband!!!

"Tulip Festival"

So it was my birthday on Friday but it was raining so that ruined my bday.. But the Next day was Saturday and it was a beautiful day so I decided to celebrate my birthday better on that day. A group of friends were gonna come but at the last minute they canceled so it just ended up being Marci and I that attended this lovely festival... Tulips are my favorite flower and I was so stoked about this festival... They had tulips everywhere along with booths of food and things to buy they also had some Dutch music played by a local band... The day we went was dutch day. Marci and I had a blast!!! I wish my husband was here with me so he could see all the beautiful creations of the Lord...
My old Roommate and One of my good friends Marci
Me and a hat I wanted to buy but I wasn't gonna spend $48 dollars for... Too pricy!!! Way Cute hat thou!
People that were dressed up for dutch days
I took a picture of some wooden shoes... It reminds me of what Garett's and my shoes look like right next to each other... Lol

I took way more pics of tulips but I couldn't post them all up since I took 65 pictures... I hope you enjoyed the nice flowers....

"What a deal!!!"

I was in the mall the other day and I noticed a store called think ink and when I looked at the prices I was super excited!!! I had ran out of ink cartridges and when I looked around I saw that each cartridge was around $40.00 each... wow thats 's 80 bucks for two... So when I saw the prices to refill the cartridges I was super happy... Thanks to think ink!!! In total to refill both cartridges it was $24. dollars what a steal of a deal!!! They even sell cartridges and fix them to for half the price!!! This totally made my day so now I can continue making cards and printing out pictures!!! If your interested in refilling or purchasing cartridges check out this website http://www.islandinkjet.com or if you live in utah its located in Orem's university mall or in American Fork next to the Smith's store... If you can also call them too if you have any questions the Orem number is 801-229-1465 and they're located near the food court at the University Mall... Need I say more.... No more purchasing expensive cartridges for me.... Hope this info is useful to those of you that wanna save money on ink cartridges...

"Sending some love to my Soldier"

One of the ways I show my husband that I love him is by sending him packages.... I miss him and love him so so so much!!! I usually ask him what he needs and then I add some goodies and little surprises that I know he'll love!!! I'm a woman on a budget so I do the best I can with the funds I have but I make these packages with lots of love... I wish I was rich so I could send him packages everyday but what can I do?? these packages can get a little pricy... But all that matters to me is that he's happy and I wish I could see his smile when he receives them.... I wish these flat rate boxes were bigger and that the post office would give us military families free shipping since they are fighting for us... I wonder if I was living on base if the post office there would be cheaper to send packages to our soldiers... I guess I'll find out when I move there sometime... I get all excited to put these packages together because I could just imagine the face on my husband... Hopefully he'll say "aww yeah!!!, My wife is the best!!!" I hope I can make his days a little brighter during those hard days of deployment...
I try to think of the weather and things that he might like to munch on... I always think if I were Garett what would I want and then I buy all the goodies... I try to make it some what healthy because he needs all the nutrients he can get... I know they go out on missions and stuff so I try to send him snacks that he can pack with him.... These boxes are pretty deep so you can't actually see all the things I packed up all in there... I try to use all the space I can for theses packages... Heehehee !!!

"Hamburgers, anyone???"

So I work at a bank and we get to meet a lot of the managers that bank with us... The managers are generally really nice and usually give us discounts when we visit their store or restaurant... It was one saturday afternoon that my friend Joannie and I decided to check out this burger joint called "Fuddruckers". Growing up in California I never heard of this place but my lds friends use to always tell me that if I'm in utah I gotta try their burgers... So much rant and rave about this place that I wanted to finally check it out for myself.. So we went and said hi to the manger and ordered our food... I must say the burgers are really good but kind of a little hard to digest at least for me... heehehee!!! I usually can't have such grease foods or else I have a problem digesting it and then my tummy hurts... :-( So I try to stay away from foods that are extremely greasy. Then my tummy will be happier with me... ;-)
