"Girls Movie Night Out"

Marci one of my best roommates and friend was down from Monticello and so we decided to meet up to watch a movie. We were debating which movie to watch but we agreed to "My sister's Keeper" Which was a very sad but good movie. Before we watched the movie we were walking around the mall and I ran into this little ice cream truck. If you know me, then you know I could be silly and do some random silly things. So I squeezed myself in there to take a picture." Ha, I was able to fit in there!"

A couple of minutes before the movie started  we took pictures....  The first pictures was of Marci & I . The next pic was of Joanne and I and then after that was a picture of Marci and her sister. At first we were joking how we were gonna need a lot of tissue paper for the tears. But then during the movie we realized we needed the whole box of tissues. Especially me, I couldn't stop tearing up through out the whole movie.  We were gonna take an after picture but we thought it was best to skip that pic. If you're gonna watch "My sister's Keeper" remember to not to forget a box of tissues, because believe me you're gonna need it. I was gonna talk more about the movie but I decided not to ruin the movie for you. All I thought about during the movie was about my sister Diana. Then I just got into each person's perspective and felt what I thought it would feel like to be each person. Any-who, those who know me know that I'm a crier and that I'll cry at movies and even cartoons.... yeah I'm a total softy!

F.H.E. Forth of July Games

So for one of our Family Home Evening activities we had Brother Lewis tell us his experience he had when he was in the Army. He told us how he joined when he was 17 years old and what it meant for him to serve his country.
When I heard his story all I could think about is my boyfriend Garett. All his sacrifices in serving our country so that we can enjoy our freedoms. I also was thinking about all those brave soldiers that gave up there lives for us. And yet we always seem to have people that never appreciate the freedoms or the opportunities  this country gives us.
We are so blessed to live in this Country. And I am grateful to have been born in this country and grateful for all those brave soldiers that keep on battling for our freedoms. I feel honored to have my boyfriend serve our country. I'm also grateful for my brother-in-law  and his sacrifice in serving. I also admire my sister who is not only a great mother but also a strong military wife. It takes a lot of faith in the Lord to let your husband go and fight in the war for freedom. In January of next year my boyfriend Garett is gonna be deploying for the first time. I am starting to understand how my sister feels and yet I know its for a good reason. I fully trust in the Lord that he will answer my prayers and keep Garett safe, along with the other soldiers that are battling for us.
Well, these are some of the games we played after Brother Lewis told us his story. We first started off playing a three legged race in which I totally ate it.
Then  we played this frisbee game in which two people have to throw the frisbee to each other and take a couple of steps back and try to finish back at the starting point. Yeah it was fun!

Next was this water game in which you had two teams. They line up side by side and each person has a cup and they pass water to each other. The last person collects all the water into a bucket and the team with the most water wins. It was fun to watch Christina and the others play the game. I was gonna play but I decided to take pics instead.
Last But not least was the pie eating contest. Christina was brave enough to represent the ladies. They wanted me to do it but I was stuffed from dinner.  I wanted to do it though but I'm glad Christina jumped in and took one for the team.  I forgot who the winner was but I was amazed at all those who participated, good job!
